Abbeville County School District has been made aware of a social media post that alluded to a threat to a school in Abbeville. The Abbeville County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) were notified immediately. After a thorough investigation, no credible threat against any school in Abbeville County has been identified,
Unfortunately, these types of threats have increased in communities across our nation.
Abbeville County School District takes all alleged threats seriously. Your child's security and safety remain our top priority. As always, we encourage our students, parents, and community members to report any suspicious behavior or perceived threats to our schools and law enforcement.

Due to a power outage, Wright Middle students will be dismissing early. Car riders are being dismissed now and bus riders will be dismissed shortly after as soon as buses arrive. Please make plans to pick up your car riders and expect bus riders to be home much sooner than usual.

April is National Bilingual/Multilingual Learner Advocacy Month!
All elementary schools will start serving Uncrustable PB&J‘s the week we return from Spring Break. Wednesday, April 10th, will be the first day they will be served. There will still be another choice for your child to choose from at lunch. Uncrustables will be served on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as choice 2 for the remainder of the school year.
