Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 school year!

🗓 February 10 – March 6
Packets and flyers are available at your child’s school. Please request a 4K registration folder from the school office.

✅ Once completed, return the packet to your child’s school by March 6.
Please be sure:

All forms are fully completed

Required documents are included

You provide 2 proofs of residency (one must be a recent property tax statement or lease agreement)

Your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026

The child’s legal guardian completes the paperwork

📌 Completed packets will be picked up from schools March 9–11.

Abbeville County School District will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4.

Students, staff, and families should plan for a normal school day with regular bus routes and school hours. We’re excited to welcome everyone back!

All schools will operate on a three-hour delay on Tuesday, February 3 due to hazardous road conditions in several areas.

Due to the inclement weather, the rescheduled meeting for the Abbeville County School District Board of Trustees, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The Budget Workshop will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by an Executive Session at 5:30 PM. The regular meeting will begin at 6:00 PM. *The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 17 will be a combined meeting for January and February. An updated agenda, which will reflect the changes, will be posted prior to the meeting.

Due to the winter storm anticipated to impact our area this weekend, Abbeville County School District will have an eLearning Day on Monday, February 2nd. All extracurricular activities and athletic events are canceled Saturday, January 31st through Monday, February 2nd.

This decision was made to ensure the safety of our students and staff. The district will continue to consult with local officials as we make further decisions regarding school next week. We will share all updates through our communications system, website, and social media channels.

Out of an abundance of caution, Abbeville County School District will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday, January 29th. Although temperatures are reaching mid to high 40's during the day, water is re-freezing overnight with lows in the 20's. Abbeville County School District is committed to the safety of our students, faculty, and community.

ACSD Board meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026. Budget workshop at 5:00 PM. Executive Session at 5:30 PM. Regular Board meeting at 6:00 PM.

Abbeville County School District will operate on an E-Learning schedule Tuesday, January 27th. Although there is some melting occurring, temperatures are expected to fall overnight in the teens. Areas of black ice are expected and present dangerous road conditions. Abbeville County School District is committed to the safety of our students, faculty, and community. Teachers will have assignments uploaded digitally by 8:00 am. Students will have five days to complete all assignments once we return to school. Stay safe and warm and please monitor school communications for additional updates.

Due to forecasted dangerous winter weather, Abbeville County Schools will operate on an E-Learning schedule Monday, January 26. Due to the continued freezing temperatures we will be monitoring the forecast for Tuesday, January 27th as well. Every student will receive a bag of food to take with them tomorrow, January 23rd. Students will complete assignments remotely, and families should monitor school communications for additional updates.

Abbeville County School District is continuing to closely monitor weather forecasts and predictions for this weekend and will remain in contact with Emergency Preparedness and the National Weather Service. The SC Dept. of Education requires that districts share certain student data with them for military recruitment purposes and allows parents to opt out of this process. Please complete the attached form only if you would like your 11th or 12th-grade student’s name, address, telephone listing, email address, and/or other directory information held from release for directory information and recruitment purposes. Responses will be collected starting today and will close on December 7th. If you do not want your student's information shared with military recruiters, the attached form must be completed by December 7th. No action needs to be taken if you agree to share your student's information.
