The Abbeville County School District sends our heartfelt condolences to the family of Jasmine Chadwick, a 10th-grade student at Dixie High School. Jasmine tragically died as a result of a car accident on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Jasmine’s guardian, Mrs. Vicky Thompson, was also killed. The Abbeville County School District extends our deepest sympathies to Dixie High School and the surrounding community. We recognize a loss of this magnitude will deeply affect many of our students and staff. Our students’ emotional and social well-being are important to us. Counselors are available to any of our students who would like assistance during this time. We stand together as a community in honoring Jasmine’s memory. We will continue to provide support in the days ahead.
