Join us at 4:30 PM for the ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by an exciting showcase of student skills learned at the career center. The Abbeville County Career Center is thrilled to invite you to our Community Night on September 16th! The event kicks off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 PM, celebrating our new classrooms and office building. After the ceremony, enjoy fantastic student showcases featuring skills they’ve learned at the career center. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet local industries and vendors who enrich our community. As a special treat, we’ll be serving free hotdogs on a first come, first served basis! This is a wonderful chance to connect, celebrate our students, and explore community resources. We can’t wait to see you there!
Abbeville County School District has been made aware of a social media post that alluded to a threat to a school in Abbeville. The Abbeville County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) were notified immediately. After a thorough investigation, no credible threat against any school in Abbeville County has been identified,
Unfortunately, these types of threats have increased in communities across our nation.
Abbeville County School District takes all alleged threats seriously. Your child's security and safety remain our top priority. As always, we encourage our students, parents, and community members to report any suspicious behavior or perceived threats to our schools and law enforcement.

Due to a power outage, Wright Middle students will be dismissing early. Car riders are being dismissed now and bus riders will be dismissed shortly after as soon as buses arrive. Please make plans to pick up your car riders and expect bus riders to be home much sooner than usual.
