There is a Special Called Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 31st at 6pm. Also, please see the documents included in the packet for the special called board meeting. The proposed budget gives a 4% increase to the salary scale for certified and classified employees, a 28 year salary scale (currently 23 years), a 10% increase to our coaching supplements (supplements were cut 10% during the financial crisis in 2010-11), and playoff pay for coaches. Parents, due to the latest guidance received from the National Weather Service, Abbeville County Schools will dismiss at 11:30am today. Wind gusts are projected to be 55-65mph, and dismissing early will allow our bus routes to be completed prior to the severe weather.
