Don't forget - the Fall Festival is tonight! There will be food trucks here, as well as concessions for sale. There will be a silent auction in the gym and activities set up for children to enjoy. Activity Punch Cards will be available for purchase at the door. We hope to see you all from 5-7 PM!
CogAT/Iowa Testing begins tomorrow for our 2nd Grade students! Be sure your child eats a good breakfast and comes to school on time and well rested on test days. Ms. Donaldson has a treat for those classes with perfect attendance during testing. Encourage your child to do their best!
Plan to join us next Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM for our annual Fall Festival! Activity Punch Cards will be sold at the door. We'll have several food trucks as well as concessions for sale and there will be a silent auction in the gym with themed baskets created by teachers and students. We hope to see you all there!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, testing for our second graders will not begin tomorrow as originally planned. Please see the updated test dates below:

Our Scholastic Book Fair opens tomorrow!
Our Title I Open House is Tuesday, August 22 from 5:00 - 6:30! Be sure to stop by and talk to your child's teacher, see some of their work displayed, get more information about joining PTO, and shop at the Book Fair. We hope to see lots of our LCP families there!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school soon! We will be open for shopping Monday, August 21 - Friday, August 25.
MAP Testing begins on Monday! Check your child's folder for specific dates for their class. Be sure your child eats a good breakfast and comes to school well rested on test days.
August calendars and lunch menus are coming home with students today! Be sure to look over these carefully and make note of all the things happening at LCPS.
Two great opportunities for our LCPS families!
Meet the Teacher and Supply Drop Off is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26th from 4 - 6pm. Teacher assignments will be given out that night. We can't wait to see all of our LCPS Families!
REMINDER: On-site registration for new and returning students will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, July 18) from 9:00 am until 3:00pm.
A few notes:
- If you are registering a new student, please bring all necessary documentation (long-form birth certificate, immunization records, Medicaid card, utility bill with proof of address).
- If you are registering a new K5 student, bring them with you so they can complete the K5 prescreening process.
- If you have a K5 student that was screened in the spring and you have completed all the necessary paperwork, you do not have to come.
- There is a $20 school fee and a $25 technology fee that is due at time of registration.
- School staff will be available to assist parents of returning students who need help registering online.
