Throughout the month of February, second graders at LCPS researched famous African Americans and today they displayed their hard work in the form of a Wax Museum. Over the last several weeks, students have been reading biographies, watching videos, and searching online databases to learn more about African Americans that helped to shape our country. Students displayed what they had learned on posters, in written speeches, and in their outfit choices for the day. All students and staff at the school walked through the Wax Museum, as did over 50 parents and special guests.
